2006 Directors’ & Officers’ Notes
Thanks to all the
homeowners who came out on November 13th to attend our annual
homeowners meeting. During this
meeting the items addressed were the election of two board member positions,
presentation and discussion of the 2006 budget and introduction of our new
management company, Team Management, LLC.
A complete list of current board members are listed below with their
contact information. For any
homeowners who were not able to attend the annual meeting, a copy of the
2006 budget is posted on the community bulletin board at the clubhouse and
was also included in the mailing you would have received with the 2006 dues
invoice. By now each
homeowner should have received in the mail their 2006 Dues statements from
Team Management. Homeowners
wishing to pay lump sum are to pay $378; those opting to pay quarterly are
to pay $99.50 each quarter for a total amount of $398.
Regardless of which payment option homeowner chose the due date for
that payment was The board regrets to
say we have lost two board members in recent weeks.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank both Melissa Usrey
and Brian Snipes for their tireless efforts in volunteering their time to
make our neighborhood a better place to live.
With this change in place the board plans to carry on as of right now
with three members, however if any homeowner is interested in becoming
involved in our community please contact Heidi with Team Management or a
current board member to be considered for a board position.
The board is excited
about the upcoming year; we have several improvements planned for the
clubhouse area. If anyone knows
of a contractor who would like to bid on some of the repairs and maintenance
at our clubhouse please pass this information along to The Board hopes
everyone’s New Year has gotten off to a good start as we look forward to

General Announcements
►You
may be wondering how all these neighbors are getting new roofs…. Apparently
they all have hail damage which is covered under most homeowner’s insurance
policy. You may want to get a
roofing contractor to come out and take a look at yours before problems arise.
Also you may want to talk to one of the neighbors who have already been
thru the process for some guidance and recommendations for a contractor.
Most are using Acworth Exteriors, who can be reached at 770.975.7773.
►If
your roof is in good condition but is stained or streaked there is something you
can do about that. Apparently this
is a fungus that develops on the shingles and can be cleaned off.
One company which has treated roofs in Arranmore is
►Arranmore HOA hopes to get our Neighborhood Watch Program back on
track. We have unfortunately had a
recent case of burglary in the neighborhood and it would have been a good time
to use our phone chains. Over the past couple of years the program has fallen
apart and block captains have moved away and new neighbors have moved in.
Garrett Ison is going to be heading up this very important service to our
community. The watch will need one
homeowner from each street or designated quadrant to be block captain and
contact person to startup the phone chain in the event of an emergency in our
community that we need to notify neighbors quickly.
Please contact Garrett Ison if you would be interested in becoming a
block captain or helping to get the phone chains created. Garrett’s contact
information is located on the front of this newsletter.
►WANTED two homeowners for board member.
If interested contact either Heidi at Team or a board member. |
